Chelsea loanee Hakim Ziyech will not return to the club again after his loan spell with Galatasaray, MySportDab reports.

Chelsea have reportedly reached an agreement with Galatasaray for a permanent transfer for the player.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray, and Chelsea have struck a deal to have the Moroccan forward seal a permanent move to the Turkish side.

Hakim Ziyech will not return to Chelsea as he’s staying to Galatasaray on permanent move.

Obligation to buy clause, triggered and signed as Chelsea already sent letter to Gala confirming the agreement.

Further details of the move reveal Chelsea will pocket an additional £2.5m in addition to the loan fee they raked home for the player.

Ziyech, 31, fell out of favor with the Blues following Todd Boehly’s billion-pounds splurge on new signings.

The 2022 World Cup semifinalist fell on the Blues’ chopping block along with another former first-team player, who were shown the exit door in the wake of Boehly’s squad overhaul.

He was close to joining PSG in his first transfer attempt before the move collapsed at the dearth. Another move to Al-Nassr also collapsed due to medical reasons.

The 31-year-old would later join Galatasaray midway through the season on a six-month loan but with a buyout clause.

The former Ajax star has been a standout performer for Galatasaray throughout his loan shit. He has made 21 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 9 goals with 4 assists.

Galatasaray’s decision to trigger the buyout clause on the Moroccan’s contract has been linked to his impressive performances so far.

Ziyech will now be the second Chelsea player to leave the club permanently after Thiago Silva, who has sealed a move to his boyhood club Fluminense in Brazil as a free agent.

Ziyech won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup with Chelsea. He scored 14 goals and bagged 13 assists in 107 appearances for the Blues.

Terms of his new contract with Galatasaray has yet to be disclosed but the prolific forward will be hoping for another heroic chapter in his career with the Turkish giants.
