Jorginho have signed a new contract which will keep him longer at the Emirates as a player with Arsenal, MySportDab reports.

The midfielder will remain with the club where he hope to win the Premier League this season as they remain number one.

Jorginho is happy with his stay at Arsenal where he sealed a move away from Chelsea in the January window in 2023.

He has since played a huge part in Arsenal success which this season they could go on to make history by winning the Premier League.

The player was earlier rumored to be looking at making a move away from the Premier League in the summer window.

However a move won’t be happening as Jorginho have extended his contract with Arsenal for one more season.

Here Is What He Said:

“I’m really happy to stay. There was not much to discuss because I feel really good here”.

“Just to know that they appreciate me and want me to stay longer as well, it’s a big thing for me. I feel that I have more to do, so that’s why I’m staying”.

Here Is What Arteta Said:

“We’re delighted that Jorgi has signed a new contract with us.

“Jorgi is such an important part of our team, a role model with great leadership skills and a unique playing style ability which makes everybody better around him on the pitch.

“We’re very pleased that Jorgi and his family have committed with us and we’re all excited to continue this journey together.”

His commitment to Arsenal have been exceptional which is one reason he extended his contract beyond the current season.

Jorginho new contract will come to an end in 2025 which there could be another decision to extend or make a move elsewhere.
