FT: Chelsea 2-1 Bournemouth, Caicedo Score SCREAMER! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Moises Caicedo scored a screamer as Chelsea claimed a 2-1 victory against Bournemouth in the final game of the Premier League season, MySportDab reports.

The Blues and their opponent came into the game knowing what needed to be done to ensure they cruise forward with something tangible.

The Blues finished the season with 63 points which placed them in sixth position with Europa Conference League qualification.

There was so much that happened as both teams pushed from kickoff trying to see what they could put together for a goal from their end.

Chelsea started so well doing more play trying to call out their opponent and see whether they could hit them on a counter which did not work.

However, Bournemouth let loose as Moises Caicedo scored from a long range which was literally from the middle of the pitch to make it 1-0 in the 17th minute.

Both teams continued making opportunities with the away side coming close after a long strike seemed to have smeared off on top of the woodwork before going over.

Chelsea were good to go with a 1-0 lead against Bournemouth which saw both teams headed inside for the break after a heated 45 minutes of action between them.

They both were energized after the break which saw them coming in to make sure they concluded what they started from the beginning.

Raheem Sterling doubled Chelsea’s lead in the 48th minute after a wonderful assist which came from Cole Palmer making sure things became 2-0 between them.

An own-goal from Benoit Badiashile saw Bournemouth pull one goal back in the 49th minute which was able to make things 2-1 between them.

Chelsea was able to get the job done confirming their place in Europe next season after beating Bournemouth 2-1 after 90 minutes of final game for 2023/24 season.
