Croatia face a shock early exit from Euro 2024 after 2-2 draw with Albania, MySportDab reports.

A late minutes goal from Gjasula was the difference which ensured it was a draw game for the Croatians on their second match.

There are risk of elimination for the on time World Cup finalist which could see them crash out from the group stages.

There was so much which happened on the pitch from kickoff between the both of them in search of something going.

Albania wasted no time in taking the lead after 11 minutes played which saw Qazim Laçi finishing off neatly with assist from Jasir Asani which made 0-1.

Croatia kept their cool and carried on doing everything possible to make a comeback happen but nothing was coming through for them in the game.

There wasn’t much that came through as Albania were in the lead 0-1 against Croatia after 45 minutes of action between them for the game.

They resumed with a lot of work needed to be done as they continued playing with everything possible from their end.

Croatia kept on going forward until they were able to level things 1-1 with a wonderful goal in the 74th minutes which came from Andrej Kramaric.

More action came to play as Albania saw themselves falling behind with another goal conceded in the 76th minutes from Klaus Gjasula to make it 1-2.

Things became a bit open as there was more opportunities being created until Klaus Gjasula took his advantage in the additional time to make it 2-2.

The encounter came to an end with Albania holding Croatia to a 2-2 draw which puts both teams in a situation that could see them crash out from the group stages.
