Barcelona have finally reached club terms with Bundesliga side RB Leipzig for the services of 26-year-old Spain attacking midfielder Dani Olmo, MySportDab reports.

The agreement followed weeks of talks and negotiations with Leipzig  for the Spain international, who had two years remaining on his RB Leipzig contract.

Leipzig were reportedly open to Dani Olmo’s exit but held on for the right offer for the player.  While they accepted Barcelona’s proposal, the main point of contention was the payment plan, as per The Mail.

Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, the La Liga giants have finally agreed on all terms with Leipzig for Olmo. Details of the agreement as revealed shows Barcelona will pay €55m for Dani Olmo as the main transfer fee with €7m as add-ons.

Prior to the agreement, how Barcelona would pay the main transfer was a stumbling block in the move with the La Liga club reportedly offering €21.5m initial payment this summer while subsequent payments was to be done via instalments.

At the time of filing this report, it is yet unclear whether the two clubs have settled terms on the on the payment plan but a verbal agreement has been confirmed.

Before Barcelona reached agreement with RB Leipzig for the player, he had already settle personal terms with the club, agreeing to a five-year contract till 2029.
