Manchester United have reached agreement with Bruno Fernandes to extend the players’ contract, MySportDab reports.
Fernandez had two years left on his current deal and was strongly linked to a possible transfer exit from the club this summer.
However, MySportDab understands the Portuguese midfield sensation has been key to Erik ten Hag’s Man United squad, hence the club needed to keep him amidst interests from rival European clubs.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Bruno Fernandes will continue his career on fresh terms with Manchester United. He has reportedly reached agreement with the Old Trafford outfit to extend his contract by one more year till 2027.
An option for a one-year extension has also been attached, meaning the Portuguese could take his spell with the Premier League outfit to nine years.

Bruno Fernandes joined Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon in 2019 and has been an integral part of the Old Trafford outfit.
He has made 159 Premier League appearances, scoring 54 goals for the club. With the 2024-25 season set to kick off, the Portuguese will hope to continue in his top-level performances for the Old Trafford outfit.
