Liverpool opened up their Premier League 2024/25 season with a 0-2 victory against Ipswich Town, MySportDab reports.

It was a good showdown which saw Mohamed Salah getting his account for the new season with a sensational goal scored.

Arne Sloth made it his first victory as the Reds manager in the Premier League which is a good start for him as their boss.

First Half Report 

Both teams had enough preparations which saw them coming in with so much work to do on their end going forward.

Ipswich Town did well enough making their chances on the pitch but none worked out as they continued making sure they remained in the match.

Liverpool was decent enough to make sure everything was in order knowing it was a new season without Jurgen Klopp leading as their manager.

It was opportunities flying all directions but nothing significant could happen with them staying goalless while the clock hit 45 minutes on the dot.

It came to an end in the first half with Liverpool being held to a 0-0 goalless draw against Ipswich Town after 45 minutes of action took place.

Second Half Report 

It was different in the second half as Arne Sloth made some little changes which paved the way for goals to start flying in for his side.

Diogo Jota made it 0-1 for Liverpool in the 60th minute when he was assisted by Mohamed Salah which ensured that jumped in front of their opponent.

Ipswich Town had themselves to blame as they allowed an opportunity which saw Mohamed Salah punished them in the 65th minute to make things 0-2.

The match entered 90 minutes with additional time coming to play as things remained the same despite how close a goal almost happened.

Arne Sloth made sure Liverpool started their season with a 0-2 victory against Ipswich Town after 90 minutes of action which gave the new boss his first victory.
