The first Premier League player of the month nominees for 2024/25 season have been announced, MySportDab reports.
Eight players have made their way into the nominations list for best player in the first month of the season.
Erling Haaland led the race alongside Cole Palmer who are both looking to claim the award they both won in last season.
Both players have already made their mark with goals scored by them while the Chelsea star have less compared to the City man.
However both have been nominated for player of the month after helping their side to something good before the International window.
Others players nominated includes Bukayo Saka and Mohamed Salah who also continued where they left off the previous season.
Both also have made contribution in goals and assist to help their respective team in the first month of the season.

It is a close contest between all players who made significant contribution to their team in the month of August.
The award favours Erling Haaland more, based off his goals which seven in three games played including a hat trick.
