Burglars have broken into the home of Premier League footballer Joelington again, MySportDab reports.
The Brazilian sensation confirmed the attack in spates of bereaving posts on social media this morning.
He wrote;
“Our home was broken into again. To anyone considering doing this – please know that there is nothing valuable left here!
“What we care about
most is our family’s safety and our kids growing up without fear.
”We hope for a community where our children, and everyone’s children, feel safe.
”We ask that our home be respected as a safe space for our family. We simply want to live in peace,” he wrote.
Details of the attack has yet to be unraveled but it is the second time Joelington has been targeted by burglars in one year.
The first incident occured in January 2024 when. The footballer was away with his family watching Newcastle United take on Manchester City in the Premier League.
He reportedly received a notification on his phone about the attack and informed the police but the attackers were quick to beat the security and escaped with no trace.
Joelington is not the only Premier League footballer that has been attacked and the recent incident has further raise concern on the rising cases of burglary attack targeted on Premier League footballers.
The Brazilian’s Newcastle United teammate Alexander Isak was also targeted including Manchester City duo Jack Grealish and Kevin de Bruyne last year.
In all these cases, the attackers have not been tracked down with suggestions the raids are planned by actors in the footballers’ close circles.
Joelington has a burgeoning and blossoming family of four comprising his wife and three kids. They are all apparently safe despite the attack with the footballer hopeful the UK authorities will put an end to this rising menace.
