FT: Borussia Dortmund 2-3 Barcelona, Ferran Torres & Guirassy Net BRACES! [VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS]

Barcelona came out smoking to victory at the Signal Iduna Park in UEFA Champions League Matchday 6 clash, MySportDab reports.

The Catalan giants saw off the challenge from Borussia Dortmund to secure a 3-2 victory in Germany.

 

A dramatic start to the game saw the first half end goalless with both sides squandering a slew of chances.

Away from the drab and dour first 45, the second half was a rollercoaster as both teams scored and counter-scored to settle for a five-goal thriller.

Raphinha opened the scoring for Barcelona in the 52nd minute before Serhou Guirassy draw the game level in the 60th minute.

15 minutes later, Ferran Torres restored the lead for the away side but it took Borussia Dortmund just two minutes to score the leveller again through Serhou Guirassy’s second goal.

It almost ended 2-2 at full time before Ferran Torres scored a clutch goal for the Catalan giants to bag his brace and fire the La Liga champions into the lead in the 85th minute.

It ended 3-2 after the final whistle with Barcelona now winning five of their six matches to go second on the table with 15 points.

Borussia Dortmund recorded their second defeat in the competition after the loss and are 9th on the table with 12 points.

Meanwhile, Barcelona will hope to continue on winning ways when the return to weekend league action in La Liga on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
