Dominick Solanke scored a brace as Tottenham beat Manchester United 4-3 to advance unto the EFL Cup semifinal, MySportDab reports.
It was a difficult night which the devils did not have any luck on their side as they narrowly crashed out.
In the thrilling Carabao Cup quarter-final on Spurs edged past United with a 4-3 victory securing their place in the semi-finals.

The match began with Tottenham asserting early dominance which led to the 15th minute, Dominic Solanke goal which made it 1-0.
The striker capitalized on a rebound from Pedro Porro’s powerful shot, which was parried by United’s goalkeeper Altay Bayindir, to open the scoring.
Shortly after the halftime break, in the 47th minute, Dejan Kulusevski doubled Tottenham’s lead 2-0 by converting a precise cross from James Maddison.
Solanke further extended the advantage to 3-0 in the 54th minute with a well-placed shot from the edge of the box.
However, the match took a dramatic turn as Tottenham’s goalkeeper, Fraser Forster, committed two significant errors.
In the 63rd minute, a misjudged pass allowed Joshua Zirkzee to intercept and score, reducing the deficit to 3-1.
Seven minutes later, in the 70th minute, Forster’s attempted clearance was blocked by Amad Diallo, resulting in another goal for United and bringing the score to 3-2.
As tension mounted, Tottenham sought to regain control which brought about a goal in the 88th minute by Son Heung-min.
The South Korean delivered a remarkable goal directly from a corner kick, curling the ball beyond Bayindir to make it 4-2.
Despite a stoppage-time header from Jonny Evans for Manchester United, which brought the score to 4-3, Tottenham managed to hold on to their lead until the final whistle.
This victory propels Tottenham into the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup, keeping alive their aspirations for a first major trophy since 2008.
Manchester United did well enough but it wasn’t good enough as they crashed out after losing 4-3 against Tottenham.
