United went into the game at the back of shock home defeat to Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth at Old Trafford in the last fixture.
Against the Vitor Pereira-led side at the Molineux, they needed nothing less from victory to return to winning ways.

Despite going down by a lone goal, the Ruben Amorim-led side made little progress upfront and struggle to make their presence count, no thanks to a numerical disadvantage after Bruno Fernandes’ red card.
Wolves were definitely set to cruise to victory in front of their home fans and Hwang Hee-Chan capped the dominant performance with a second goal in the last kick of the game.
It ended 2-0 after the final whistle with United settle for a second consecutive defeat while Wolves win their second match in a row under new manager Vitor Pereira.
